Aurora Farm Seed CSA
When family farms were faltering in the 1980s a brand-new idea from the fertile mind of Rudolf Steiner--the threefold social order--began to take hold on this continent in the form of Community Supported Agriculture. Now "CSA" is a familiar term to people who pay attention to what they eat and where it comes from.

Many of these folks are now growing a portion of their own food ... people who might not have dreamed of such a thing before. In the face of schemes by Big Ag, Big Pharma, Big Government to control how we spend our food dollars, more of us are growing our own. As we gain confidence and expertise, the possibilities are there to move further toward independence.

WHAT ABOUT THE SEEDS?
The times when you could go into your local hardware store in mid-summer and stock up on seeds for next year at 10¢ per packet...these are gone. The corporations are too intent on their prodigious profits to allow this little gift to gardeners. We propose this: Enough seeds for your garden, small or large, and a year of personal advice and consultation on saving your own seeds. You can easily save your own seeds for 80 percent of the garden vegetables you grow; the other 20 percent are trickier...thus the offer of consultation. After three years of this you will have become a competent seed-person. Share your seeds and your knowledge.

SEEDS FOR A SMALL GARDEN $60

This will give you plenty of lettuce and spinach, cucumbers and squash, beans and corn, tomatoes and peppers for either size garden. We'll send you seeds in spring, instructions for cultivation, growing out and seed saving throughout the season and happily answer your email questions.
