To all of our fellow travellers, earthworkers, lightworkers, from Barbara and Woody at  Aurora Farm Family Foundation.

Business as usual is not an option,
nor will it ever be again...

Vital seeds grow into vital plants, the kind that, when we eat them, support clear thinking and moral action.  Rudolf Steiner told us "So long as one feeds on food from unhealthy soil, the spirit will lack the stamina to free itself from the prison of the body."

For many years we have grown this kind of food and these kinds of seeds, as our life's work, our pride and our joy.  We have raised our sons on this food, nourished ourselves and many others, and shared the seeds widely...never subsidized, working out of love and gratitude for Great Nature.

To you all, a message of comfort and safety and love in these troubled times, recalling Steiner's words of 90 years ago:

FOR THE MICHAEL AGE
We must eradicate from the Soul
All fear and terror of what comes towards Man out of the future
And we must acquire serenity
In all feelings and sensations about the future; We must look forward
With absolute equanimity to everything that may come and we must think only that whatever comes is given to us by a world directive full of wisdom. It is part of what we must learn in this age, namely to live out of pure trust without any security in existence. Trust in that ever present help of the Spiritual World. Truly, nothing else will do if our courage is not to fail us.
And we must seek this awakening within Ourselves every morning and every evening.

Rudolf Steiner  Nov. 1917

Let us remember our sense of humour, let  us cultivate gratitude, respect and right relationship with all beings.

The Hopi Prophecy

"Oh my fellow swimmers:
There is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and swift,
that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore, they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly.  Know that the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our heads above water. And I say see who is there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves, for the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves.
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

Hopi Pale Grey Squash
The river is a metaphor for the fast, white water currents of our present times in this new millennium. The call to abandon “the shore” we know and flow down the current of a unknown destiny is a common theme in the Hopi purification prophecy. The elders put it in another metaphorical way: people will “drop dead from their own fear” if they do not embrace the coming changes. Those people who can embrace change and celebrate their journey into an unknown and new millennium will greatly benefit from the coming purification of the world. Certainly the call to celebrate life — and make every one of life’s simple actions sacred — is a common message shared by the Hopi with those modern mystics and prophets like Adi Da, Gurdjieff, or Osho. All of them promote a vision of a new humanity coming that transcends its past attachments through meditation and celebration of life.
PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL
